My question is why do men think there so much more powerful then women and also why are men aloud to hurt women. What do you think?

Then, on page 53, Nooria askes Parvana to go buy food. My question is - Why does Parvana have to go? Can't Nooria go? Shouldn't the older person go out? I thought they can only go out with their father or a man.
Response to Megan: It said in the book that Nooria looked too much like a girl and she has never been outside before, so she does' t know where to go and she might slip and fall in her burqua.

And it also said some of the men liked keeping the women indoors. Why is that? I wonder why the Talibans give less freedom to women and why they think men are stronger. What do you guys think?

For example, the Taliban did not let any girls go to school.
Also Article 27:"You have the right to food, clothing, a safe place to live and to have your basic needs met.You should not be disadvantaged so that you can't do many of the things other kids can do."
For example there were many bombs that fell on Kabul during the war, this is a violation of the UNCRC Child Laws.
